The Orifice Plate is the most common primary element due to its simplicity, reliability, cost-effectiveness, easy construction and its wide range of application in measuring the flow of liquids, gases and vapors in different circumstances.
Its construction is based on international standards (IS0-5167, AGA 3 and ISA – RP3.2) and can be concentric, eccentric, quadrant edge, conical or segmental entry and has a wide range of nominal diameters.
