Flushing Rings or cleaning rings are installed between flanges (Wafer type) and can have various applications, such as installing instruments such as installing instruments without mechanical interference in the line, in diaphragm seals where there is a risk of obstruction by the fluid, such as drain or vent, among other applications.
Within a similar configuration, however, without the sockets, we have the spacer rings, which act as line expansion joints to facilitate disassembly or correct possible dimensional adjustments.
